He is survived by: his wife Sherry Benton Thompson; his children, Chip Thompson (Ann), Bryan Thompson (Amy), Krysti Wiggins (Kenneth) and Lauren Fleming (Dillon); his grandchildren, Garrett (Amber), Logan, Yaritza, Katherine, Greta, Christa, Emily (Jeffrey), Erin (Trey), Heather (Johnnie), Paxton, Karli, Joshua, Taylor, Anna, Lydia, Rylie and Ella; his great grandchildren, Arden, Macy, Tanner, Piper, Quinley and Jack; and his sisters, Edna Bowen, Helen Lambert (Jimmy), Dixie Hall and Ann Gutierrez.
