He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Lockamy and Mildred Jernigan Lockamy; his sister Patricia Wells; and his niece Melinda Blackman. He is survived by: his brothers, Allen, Donald and Wayne; and his siblings' children, Andy, Jonathan, Jason Lockamy, Bryan Wells, Sherry Wells and Lisa Dancroft.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howard - Carter Funeral Service (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the organization of your choosing.
