With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Stocks Vernon of Kinston, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Kathleen Clark Moore; and her brothers, Robert Moore and Mack Stocks. She is survived by: her children, Errol Jarman (DeeDee) of Fayetteville and Carol Jones (Clayton) of Grifton; her grandchildren, Justin Johnson of Kinston, Jeremy Johnson (Avery) of Greenville and Dawson Jarman of Fayetteville; her great grandchildren, Ethan Johnson and Ezra Johnson; and her siblings, Phyllis Mozingo (Keith) and Ray Moore (Peggy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
