He is survived by: his significant other Candace Skinner of Kinston, NC; his children, Rusty Willard of Denton, Dawn Barksdale of Beaver Dam, Timmy Willard of Vanceboro and D. J. Willard of Jacksonville, Florida; his stepchildren, Jason Skinner of Tallahassee and Holly Skinner Humphrey of Winter Springs, Florida; his grandchildren, Cory Putnam, Ryan Barksdale, Hanna Willard Spears and Samuel Willard; and his sister Kathy Hoggard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
