She was predeceased by: her husband Kelly Sutton; her sons, Joe Cash and Johnnie Cash; her parents, Leon Pate and Eliza Pate; and her siblings, Margaret Carter, Leonard Pate and Leslie Pate.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Chastain (Michael), Connie Davis, Debbie Huffman, Linda Carter (Joe), Billy Cash, Jesse Cash, Jr. (Annette) and Sammy Cash (Pris); and her brother Thomas Pate. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren and 33 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
