The family announces the passing of Grace Dail of Kinston, North Carolina on October 29, 2026. Grace, born on October 16, 1928, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie I. Sparrow and Lillian Whitley Sparrow; her husband Roy Lee Dail Jr.; her son Bobby C. Dail (Yuvonne); her daughter-in-law Faye Dail; her grandson Robbie Dail; and her siblings, Virginia Toth, Vernelle Edwards, Donnie Sparrow, Billy Sparrow, Roy Sparrow and Johnnie Sparrow.
She is survived by: her son Douglas R. Dail; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Edwards and Janet Sparrow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
