It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Rogers Jones of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Goodman and Lossie Bell Pate Goodman; and the father of her children Jacob Rogers, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jennette Tyndall of Kinston, David Tyndall, Jr., Stephanie Salesberry, Debbie Rogers (Bill Travis) of Kinston, Susan Sanderson of Kinston, Christian Heath, Elijah Heath, Wayne Rogers of Kinston, James Rogers of Pink Hill and Jackie Rogers (Dawn) of La Grange; and her grandchildren, James Rogers, Jr., Justin Rogers, Jeremy Rogers, Tina Rogers, Drew Rogers and Carson Rogers. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
