She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Hill Rouse (Clint) of Morehead City; her grandchildren, Tylan Mackel (John) of Morehead City, Rachel Rouse of Morehead City, Rachel Lau (Jia) of Hampstead, Zachery Hill of Monroe and Ryan Rouse of Morehead City; her niece Jai Ann Vermon of Missouri; and her nephews, Greg Fontenot (Maggie), Ted Fontenot (Rashanne) of Texas and Chris Deranger (Janie) of Louisiana.

The family request that contributions be made to Rivermont Baptist Church in her name.
