He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fields and Meta Jeffords Fields; and his son Gary Fields. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Allen Fields; his son Dennis Fields (Christena); his grandchildren, Mary Ryan Shapiro (Greg) of California, Michele Marina Blake (Blythe) of Garner and Charles Alexander Fields (Morgan) of Harrisburg; his great grandchildren, Mary Harmony Shapiro, Jackson Allen Shapiro, Easton Alexander Shapiro, Christian Vance Marina, Liza Makenzie Marina, Savanah Grae Blake, Elizabeth James Fields and Evan Christina Fields; and his brother William C. Fields. He is also survived by loving husband of 66 years, and a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
