He was predeceased by: his brother David Crisp Adkins. He is survived by: his significant other Jane Williams Hobbs; his children, Jessica Adkins Tyndall of Kinston and Brandon Adkins of Wilmington; his grandsons, Brendan Tyndall and Brayden Tyndall of Kinston; his brother Jimmy Adkins (Linda) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Susan Rush Adkins of Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
