She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston F. Wheeler and Mollie Rivenbark Wheeler; and her husband Pompey A. Coombs, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lynda Padgett (Neal) of Burgaw, Donna Robinson (late Bill) of Ernul and P. A. "Toby" Coombs, Jr. (Frances) of Kinston; her granddaughter Christa Thomas (Don) of Holly Ridge; and her great grandchildren, James Goodson, Paul, Luke, Abigail Padgett, Grace, Hunter and Elizabeth Isenberg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, as well as many family and friends.
