With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Durwood Robinson (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Robinson and Annie Lee Freeman; and his close friend Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Lorie Anne Cantu (Kim) and James Durwood Robinson, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Brittany Robinson and Daniel. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many special friends.
