He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rogers and Gertrude Rogers; and his sister Pat Pattishall. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hughes Rogers; and his children, Gregory M. Rogers of Kinston, Ron D. Rogers (Sharon) of Grantham and Jo Lynne Bishop of Kinston. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude and Tunnell the Towers.
