We are sad to announce that, on February 23, 2023, at the age of 75, Janet Johnson (Kinston, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Rouse and Louise Rouse; her brothers, Jerry and Greg Rouse; and her brother-in-law Bill Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Wallace Johnson; her son Bryan Johnson (Courtney); her sister Gwen Humphrey (Ralph); her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Johnson, Rita Wood, Ethel Johnson, Eleanor Rouse and Tammy Rouse; and her grandchildren, Becton, Molly and Whit Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, the American Lung Association, or the American Cancer Society.
