She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Metts; her son Darren Metts; and her siblings, Gerald Griffin, Frances Sutton and Gayle Parker.
She is survived by: her sons, Ben Metts (Robin) of Kinston and Curt Metts (Kelli) of Matthews; her grandchildren, Kelly Metts, Tony Whitley, Emily Futrell, Alex Metts, Abby Metts, Blake Anderson, Maddie Huntley, Hunter Smith and Camden Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Mikenzie, Noah, Alexis, Bella, Junior, Jackson, Ruth Ann, Brayden, Asher, Brett, Greyson, Kopen, Navy, Emery, Danny and Connor; and her sister Sue Haddock (Doug). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; several friends.
