We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jeannie Bannister of Kinston, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Evans and Gladys Evelyn Buchanan; her husband Rex Bannister; and her sister Nadine Dorsey. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Bannister (Vicki), Bryan Bannister (Jennifer), Myra Cook, Brad Bannister and Gina Manning (Tim); her grandson Dustin Bannister (Danielle); her children, Kevin Bannister, Joey Cook, Hannah Cook Moore (Tyler), Daniel Bannister (Hollie), Parker Bannister, Jacob Bannister (Grace) and Gavin Bannister; and her great grandchildren, Declan, Finnick, Kellan, Evelyn and Graham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and beloved extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grange First Free Will Baptist Church (802 S Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551).
