He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bernard Drake and Dorothy Setzer Drake; his wife Betty Dortch Drake; and his brother Donald Carl Drake. He is survived by: his daughter Natasha Drake (Clay Willams) of Farmville, NC; his sister Joyce Kay Drake (Ralph Roberson) of Julian, NC; his grandchildren, Aidan, Logan and Colton; and his brother Dudley W. Purdy, Jr. of Maryland. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
