He is survived by: his wife Kathy Benson; his sister Brenda Benson Heath (Charles); his nieces, Angela Brown (Rusty) and Alicia Lapas (Adrian); his great-nephews, Brandon Brown (Jessie), Brody Brown and John Lapas; his great-niece Sarah Lapas (Cody Smith); his godsons, Tanner Scott, Nicholas Turner and Shane Turner; Hunter Joe Brown.
