She was predeceased by: her husband Donnie; and her parents, Jesse Earl Jones and Lucy Everett Jones. She is survived by: her sons, Donald "Clay" Dunn II (Brittany Hardman Dunn) of La Grange and Christopher Aaron Dunn (Savannah Strickland Dunn) of Nashville, NC; her grandchildren, Emerson Reese Dunn and Cale Easton Dunn of La Grange; and her siblings, Catherine Jones Bass (Jerry Howard Bass) of Kinston, Douglas Stocks (Janet) of Snow Hill, Tammy Everett of Kinston and Lisa Jones of Snow Hill.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wheat Swamp Christian Church (3732 Wheat Swamp Rd, La Grange, NC 28551). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Dr, Kinston, NC 28504).
