It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Earle Collins Jr. of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and John Collins, Sr.; his wife Margie; his sons, Randal Collins and Russel Collins; his grandson Marshall Collins; his daughter Janice Collins; and his sister Jeanne Dorothy Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Collins Peters (Virginia) of Reston; and his grandchildren, Emily DeWitt-Cisneros, Alessia Collins Hankins, Zachary Collins Peters, Kyle Winslow Peters and Cody Dillon Collins. He is also survived by seven loving great-grandchildren.
