He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Powell of Florida; and his close friends, Lucy and Lizzie. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Powell Whitenack and Tommy Powell of Virigina; his wife Susan Runyon-Powell; his stepson Alex Ormond; and his children, Stephen Ciriacruz (Shawna) and Melissa Ciriacruz of Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
