She is survived by: her children, Tina Thigpen Stapleton (Thomas Schroeder) of Holly Springs and Ray Thigpen (Cathy) of Bushnell, FL; her grandchildren, Lindsey Coley (Brian) of Durham and Justin Croom (Ashley Smith) of Zebulon; her great grandchild Ava Smith of Zebulon; her sister Brenda Jarman of Kinston; and her nieces, Nora Jenkins of Kinston and Belinda Jackson of Kinston.
