She is survived by : her husband Horace Taylor; her daughters, Samantha Lopez (Scooter Kitchen) and Kimberly Gabreath; her granddaughter Kayley Reyes (Joan); her great grandchildren, Leah and Aubree Reyes; and her siblings, Bobby Baker (Sally), Tommy Baker (Tess) and Anita Rhodes.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Rouse Funeral Home (108 N Caswell St, La Grange, NC 28551). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
