She was predeceased by: her son Chase Lee Pittman; and her father Ralph Hamilton. She is survived by: her son Caelan of Jacksonville; her mother Barbara Hamilton; her sister Deborah Smith (Steve) of Sanford; and her nephews, Brandon Smith (Jessica) of Sanford and Tyler Smith (Morgan) of Broadway. She is also survived by three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made to the Lenoir County SPCA at 3200 US Highway 258, Kinston, NC 28501or to Trinity Methodist Church at 3768 Banks School Rd., Kinston, NC 28504 in Kimberly's memory.
