She is survived by: her husband Norman Harrell Thigpen; her daughters, Renee Thigpen Best (Marty) of Kinston, Crystal Thigpen Davis (Jack) of Kinston and Melissa Thigpen Alcock (Travis) of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Derek Sutton (Amber Faulk), Amber Best James (Brandon), Brittany Wallace (Houston Blake), Joshua Wallace (Rachel), Jared Wallace (Gracie Hinnant), Hailey Alcock, Connor Alcock, Reese Alcock, Stephanie Best, Melanie Davis, Dylan Davis, Lauren Davis, Miranda Brock (Evan), Kaden Sutton, Everhett James, Holland James, Harbor Blake, Leah Faulk, Emersyn Faulk, Blake Crawford and Cora Crawford; and her siblings, Gerald Hollamon (Jo Ann), Carrol Hollamon (Diane) and Debbie Epps (Lynn). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kinston First Pentecostal Holiness Church or Lenoir County Relay for Life.
