She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Turner and Ruth Turner; her husband Robert Haynes Whitfield; and her siblings, Betty Faye Turner, Patsy Ruth Turner and Arthur William Turner, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Whitfield Lancaster (Tony) of Moss Hill and Robert Haynes Whitfield, Jr. (Kimberly) of Moss Hill; her grandchildren, Courtney Marie Whitfield of Kinston, Elizabeth Jo Whitfield of Kinston, Paige Whitfield Lancaster of Moss Hill, Ashley Michelle Lancaster of Winterville and Rebecca Caroline Lancaster of Kinston; and her sister Glenda Kaye Turner of Pink Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Innocent Episcopal Church (6861 NC-55, Seven Springs, NC 28578).
