He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton Edward and Marie Pennington Warner; his wife Anne Mitchell Warner; his children, Wooten Warner Underwood (Willis) of Goldsboro, NC and Milton Dale Warner, Jr. (Dee); his grandchildren, Warner Underwood Lambeth (David), Willis Boykin Underwood IV, Milton Dale Warner III and Lillian James Warner; his great grandchildren, David Thomas Lambeth IV and Elizabeth Wooten Lambeth; his stepdaughters, Molly Anne Templeton (John) of Asheville, NC, Mary Kathyrn Desjardins (Lee) of Tulsa, OK and Sarah Tyson Schremp (Greg) of Greenville, NC; his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Schremp, James Joseph Templeton, Eloise Elizabeth Templeton and Baylee Elisabeth Schremp; and his former wife Carolyn Wooten Warner.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made to the Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro or the Salvation Army of Kinston, where Dale served as board member for more than 20 years.
