He is survived by: his niece Jennifer Krochmalny Shagena; his great-niece Jayda Katherine Shagena; his wife Joan Rice Broadway; his children, Jeffrey Rice Broadway (Michael) of Kinston, Patrick Ray Broadway of Cary, Jill Elizabeth Wikoff (Matthew) of Middletown, DE and Scott Broadway (Erin); his sister Kay Broadway Manning (Ray) of Greenville; his granddaughters, Emily Broadway Haysom (Derek) of Houston, TX, Hannah Broadway Goktan (Devrim) of Fort Collins, CO, Caroline Elizabeth Wikoff, Rachel, Lydia and Joanna Broadway; his great grandchildren, Harris "Harry" Rice, George Hutter Haysom, Joshua Tanner and William Finley Goktan; his nephew Daniel Lee Krochmalny; his great-nephew Zeke Krochmalny of Greenville, NC.; and his caregiver Lakeisha "ChiChi" Turnage. He is also survived by his high school sweetheart, the love of his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in his memory to Faith Fellowship Church, 2278 Pauls Path Road, Kinston, NC 28504.
