She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Daniel Parrott Dickerson and Titus Parrott; and her stepfather Eldridge Dickerson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Merritt Dean; her children, Kristi Lynne Dean Walsh and Richard Merritt Dean, Jr.; her grandchildren, Tyler Dean Walsh and Haley Rae Jones; and her brother Gary Dickerson.
