She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Donald Gladson; her parents, Cecil Howard and Essie Mae Edwards; her children, Yvonne G. Sanderson (Donnie) and Johnnie Donald Gladson, Jr.; her grandson Michael Brandon Gladson; and her brothers, Dr. W. A. Howard and Bobby Howard.
She is survived by: her son Howard Carroll Gladson (Terri) of Greenville; her siblings, Bette H. Smith (Albert) of Emerald Isle and Cecil Franklin Howard, Jr. (Ruth); her daughter-in-law Becky Wilkins of Mountain City, TN.; her sister-in-law Zeljka Howard; and her grandchildren, Johnnie Donald Gladson III of La Grange, Lindsey Gladson Barnhardt of Wake Forest, Lisa Michelle Sanderson of Whiteville and Ryan Gladson of Raleigh. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
