He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard McDaniel and Helen Griffin McDaniel; his sisters, Berta Herndon, Ernestine Sach and Eunice Hicks; and his pets, Charlie and Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor McDaniel; his pets, Zada, Meg and Pepper; and his siblings, Eugene McDaniel (Dorothy), Ann Wetherington (Lindy), Glenda Oliver (Larry) and Barbara Tribula (Michael). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Onslow County SPCA.
