He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard N. "Bud" Rouse and Nancy Geneva White Rouse. He is survived by: his wife Joyce White Rouse; his sons, Earl Rouse (Barbara), David Rouse (Tracy) and Jimmy Loren White (Paula); his grandchildren, Alicia (Brittni), Lauren (Nick), Lilly, Norman, Emily, Jessica, Brandon, John and David; and his great grandchildren, Bret and Logan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Howard-Carter Funeral Home (1608 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice (https://app.etapestry.com), 115 Airport Rd, Kinston, NC 28501, in gratitude for their excellent care and service to Norman during his last month or so.
