He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Gary (Angie) of La Grange, Jerry (Marcia) of Kinston and Greg (Bridget) of La Grange; his grandchildren, Madison (Walker) of Goldsboro, Alison of Kinston, Bryce, Brody of La Grange, Kameron and Ashlyn of La Grange; his great grandchildren, Walker and Elijah of Goldsboro; and his brother Herman "Doodle" of Grifton.
