He was predeceased by: his parents, Plato Collins Barwick, Sr. and Thelma Banks Barwick. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Coston Barwick; his sons, P. Collins Barwick, III (Laurie) of Raleigh and G. Scott Barwick of Kinston; and his grandchildren, P. Collins Barwick, IV (Lins), Smith Williams Barwick and John-Henry Lomax Barwick.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinston Country Club (1501 Country Club Dr, Kinston, NC 28504). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church (800 Rountree St, Kinston, NC 28501).
