He was predeceased by : his former wife Susie Robinson; his daughter Bonita Joann Robinson; his brothers, Ronnie Robinson and Donald Nunn; his parents, Dorothy Stacey and Robert James Robinson; and his step-daughter Sheila Issa. He is survived by : his children, Ronni Brantley (Allen Braxton) and Robert "R. J."; his fiancée Maryann Derezick; his grandchildren, Brandy Lee Nethercutt (Allan), Britain Brantley (Elizabeth), Brock Brantley, Ronni Davis, Makayla Robinson, Robert Robinson IV, Santanna Piner (Chris), Sarah Reveira (James) and Mohamed Issa; his great grandchildren, Thomas Reed Nethercutt, Harley Davis and Mya Reveira; his close friend Dave Long (Linda); and his pets, Katie Mae and Ruby Tuesday.
