The memory of Sadie Elizabeth Mitchell (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Mitchell; her parents, Jasper Mitchell and Hazel Mitchell; and her siblings, Mike Mitchell, Doug Mitchell and Jackie Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Mitchell (Kim) and Jamie Jenkins (Nick); her grandchildren, Parker Mitchell, Claire Mitchell, Jacob Jenkins, Camden Jenkins and Matthew Jenkins; and her sister Debbie Soles (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous very special friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (3297 Falling Creek Rd, Kinston, NC 28504).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorials to be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, 3297 Falling Creek Road, Kinston, NC 28504 or Crystal Coast Hospice House, PO Box 640, Newport, NC 28570 with all donations earmarked "In Memory of Sadie Mitchell".
