He was predeceased by: his parents, Bright Daughety and Tessie Sanderson Daughety; his siblings, Barbara Noble and Jerry Daughety; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Rouse and Carroll Elmore.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Daughety; his children, Michael Daughety (Joyce) and Melissa Heath (Shawn); his grandchildren, Ashley Daughety, Elizabeth Tilghman (Ryan), Courtney Daughety, Justin Daughety, Maecy Croom, Katie Croom, Reagan Heath and Walker Heath; his great grandchildren, Braeleigh Mae, Thomas Walker and Anna Grace; his sister Anne Taylor (Mac); and his sisters-in-law, Marie Elmore and Yvonne Daughety. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other close family and friends.
