He is survived by: his wife Shelia Graham; his mother Dorothy Arrington of Kinston; his children, Shelicia Dixon of Durham, NC, Shameka Dixon, Donnesha Yelverton, Jelsia Holmes of Kinston and Dontay Holmes of Kinston; and his sisters, Cheryl Graham and Antionette Sedgewick. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with Mr. Thomas in the Warehouse at the City of Kinston. It was only for 5 month's before he retired, he showed me the ropes and explained how things worked in the City. We had our early morning conversations always helped getting the day started. Mr. Thomas was a very nice person helped get me through the new job jitters. Prayer go out to your family and friends during this time of grief.”
