He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton "Mac" Lovick and Marjorie Conway Lovick. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Turner and Steve Lovick (Marsha Lovick); his sons, Matthew Lovick (Jason) and Jason Lovick; and his grandsons, Mathew of Brandon, JJ and Wesley. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Milton "Mac" Lovick Culinary Scholarship fund at Lenoir Community College.
