He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Rouse Sr. and Dorothy Rouse; his wife Jean Rouse; and his brothers, Weldon Rouse and Forrest Rouse Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Rouse Dixon (Melvin), Linda Rouse Murphy (Morris) and Steve Rouse (Karen); his grandchildren, Jamie Rouse (Samantha), Jennifer Murphy Sumner (Monty), Jeremy Rouse, Justin Murphy (Julie), Jessica Rouse (Cody), Kayla Dixon Bradshaw, Trent Thigpen (Brooke), Jake Rouse and Mackenzie Rouse; his sisters, Edna Smith and Ellie Latimer (Spike); his sister-in-law Linda Rouse; and his brothers, Julius "Spot" Rouse, Julian "Bob" Rouse and David Rouse (Amy). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, 1219 Bill Sutton Road, Pink Hill, NC 28572.
