He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Rigsbee Sr. and Millie Kirby Rigsbee; and his brothers, Wallace McFarland, Edward Rigsbee, Tommy Rigsbee and Larry Rigsbee.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Rigsbee Wrenn of Henderson, Alvis Adrian Rigsbee III (Angela) of Durham, William Vance Rigsbee of Franklinton, Russell Dean Rigsbee of Louisburg and James Darin James of Henderson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plank Chapel United Methodist Church (3047 Bobbitt Rd, Kittrell, NC 27544).
