Geneva Perry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Perry of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geneva Perry to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Alonzo Harris and Edna Baum Harris; her brothers, Bill Harris and Roy Harris; her sister-in-law Fran Harris; and her cousin Lorna Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Alvah H. Ward Jr.; her children, Michael Harrell (DeDe) and Cathy H. Elwang; her grandchildren, Randi Skaggs (Jerry), Tricia Tawes (David), Joshua Elwang (Anne), Chelsea Schoonmaker (Ray), Zachary Gaskins and Victoria Jeffery (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Julia, Tucker, Anna Lynn (Dylon), Macy, Emery, Jaxson, Ava, Lyla and Kasey; her great great grandchildren, Becca, Harper and Matthew; her sibling's children, Matilda Zuhars, Melanie Micheal (Greg), Judith Fearing (Craig), Clay Harris (Lisa) and Allison Hope; and her caregivers, Jamie Norman, Kia Tatem and Geneva. She is also survived by children and many other beloved extended family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Outer Banks Chapel - Twiford Funeral Homes (500 Budleigh St, Manteo, NC 27954). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church (803 W Kitty Hawk Rd, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949).
