He is survived by: his wife Ella Faye Gibbs; his sons, Charles (Jennifer) and Derek (Angie); his grandchildren, Jacob, Kristin, Heather (Justin), Joshua (Imène), Ashley and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Kasen, Evelyn and Jake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
