Frances Pope Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Pope (Knightdale, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth A. Edwards and Allie M. Lee; her husband William Henry "Doodle" Pope; her great grandchild Landon Johnson; and her brothers, Paul Edwards, James Edwards and Ellis Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, David Pope (Renee), Ricky Pope (Brenda), Jan P. Hallisey (Bob) and Becky P. Black (Frank); her grandchildren, Bryan Pope (Stephanie), Whitney McCallister (Wes), Heather Little, Christopher Miller (Amanda), Bridgette Barham (Tee), Jason Pope (Markie), John Martin (Erica), Logan Pope (Kenan), Miranda Bravo (Joel) and Grayson Black; her great grandchildren, Taylor (Bo), Hayden (Bethany), Trista, Carlie, Blaine, Skyler, Caroline, Maddox, Elijah, Chloe, Mila, Hunter, Max, Oscar, Mason, Dallas, Campbell and Kaysen; her great great grandchild Tatum; her sister Camilla Garrison; and her caregivers, Jackie Dunn and Jackie Bullock. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory (944 Old Knight Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (8400 Poole Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545).
Flowers are accepted, or memorial contributions can be made to the Two Green Thumbs Garden Club of Knightdale.
