He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Kempisnki and Agnes Kempisnki; his brothers, Ben and William; and his nephew Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Chip (Dana), Matthew (Deanna) and Megan (Philip); and his stepchildren, Gabriel, Jessica (Greg) and Sara (Brad). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
