He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Charles Hart and Virginia Flowers Hart; and his brothers, Kenneth C. Hart, Jr. and Robert L. Hart. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Hopkins Hart; his children, James R. Hart, Jr., Timothy Hart (Nancy), Kingsley Hart (Kathie), Maggie Forches (Tom), Whitney Keith (Mark) and Hannah Ferrell (Steven); and his brother Ronald Hart (DeeAnn). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
