She is survived by: her mother Gladys J. Bobbitt of Knightdale; her husband Rev. J. Randolph Barnes; her children, Janelle R. Cofield of Knightdale, Latrice Barnes of Raleigh, Keyara Barnes of Clayton, Chris Barnes (Brandy) of Durham, Demetrus Barnes of Raleigh, Lawson Minga of Birmingham, Michael Rouson of Seattle and Latasha Hooker of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Niyah, Brittany, Isaiah, Summer, Destinee, Jayden, Cameron, Emory, Tyreek, Latrell, Trinity, Akedran, Londyn and Amari; and her siblings, Phyllis Rogers of Lillington and Walter D. Bobbitt of Knightdale. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, cherished friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carlton Gray Funeral Home (2810 Kidd Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riley Hill Baptist Church (6101 Riley Hill Rd, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
