He is survived by: his children, Glenda Sue Leggett of Wake Forest and Linwood Sherill Piper (Bonnie) of Wake Forest; his grandsons, Jason Leggett (Laura) of Louisburg and Logan Piper (Sandi Gaskins) of Wake Forest; his great grandchild Adelynn of Louisburg; his sisters, Jeannette Barham of Charlotte and Betsy Harris (Glenn) of Greensboro; and his friend Jim Freeman of Wake Forest.
