He was predeceased by: his father William Henry Brooks; his daughter Leigh Anne Brooks; and his brother William Henry Brooks, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Jackson Brooks; his children, Robyn Brooks McLamb (Rusty) and John Brandon Brooks (Tracey); and his grandchildren, Carson Brooks, Turner McLamb, Ashleigh McLamb and Jack Brooks.
