He was predeceased by: his parents, Sri and Malti; his wife Mala Kavde; and his brothers, Nishikant Kavde, Vijay Kavde and Jaywant Kavde.
He is survived by: his son Uday Kavde; his daughter-in-law Pratima; and his grandchildren, Karishma, Arjun and Dylan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
